Where am I?

Mt. Pleasant and Columbia Heights have seen many changes in the past several years...and they're only going to contiue to evolve. The pros and cons of these changes are not in the scope of this Web site - that would actually involve provided some serious intellectual fodder. And as I am not a real hipster, I can't have any sort of discussion on gentrification and the socioeconomic millieu that comprises these two neighborhoods. (Suffice it to say, a Target is being constructed across the street from a recently opened Starbucks...)

Mt. Pleasant and Columbia Heights are melting pots - many cultures meet here. They're drawing hip urban professionals (huppies?) by the day and are home to some great bars and restaurants.
